This Emmy award winner is also a bestselling author. Her first book, Selena’s Secret, uncovers the story behind the murder and tragic death of Tejano music superstar Selena Quintanilla, and became an instant bestseller, selling more copies than any other non-fiction publication in Spanish and was described by Publishers Weekly as “Simon & Schuster’s most successful front list title in Spanish.” In 2007 Scholastic published The Magic Cane, a magical fable inspired by the stories that María Celeste tells her own kids, and a Hollywood production company has acquired the rights to turn The Magic Cane into a feature film.
She is also a radio personality with daily segments on the ABC radio network and has a dedicated audience for her video-blogs on Telemundo.com.
